I was surprised that a paddle this cheap could be so good. The blade is very stiff with no flex at all, and the shaft assembly has minimal movement/wiggle when connected. The weight is surprisingly light too. Definitely not my Werner carbon fiber paddle, but as a spare or beginner paddle it’s more than adequate!

Much better than the original one that came with the kayak at a reasonable price

Seems to be a good quality paddle. Adjustable as to the tilt of the blade. Has a good diameter handle, however, the overall paddle is a little lighter weight than i'm used to. Just not sure how long it will hold up.

I purchased this paddle recently and have used it dozens of times. It's light, strong and feels good. I can go further with it with less fatigue than my previous paddles. The old paddles feel like they're made of lead compared to this one! I like the oblong shape of the shaft; makes it easier to handle and control the paddle!

Great oars. Used them in the river in a14.7 foot canoe. Moved me along at a nice clip with little effort

I’d like to start by saying this product looks great the attention to detail is nice. It has drip rings to keep the water off your hands from causing blisters. It has thin barely noticeable grips to keep the paddle securely in your grips.

Got this because I wanted to try a little longer paddle than the one I have for my kayak. This is a basic, lightweight paddle with a metal shaft and plastic blades. The blades are a good size and fairly stiff. There are three positions available to adjust the blade angles for better functionality in different waters. The paddle comes apart for easy transport and the metal push buttons were easy to depress to take the paddle apart or change the blade angles. It weighed in at 2lbs, 5oz with is comparable to other similarly sized paddles. It appears to have foam stoppers inside each paddle handle to prevent water from entering and to allow the paddle to float. I’ll still be keeping mine leashed. Two issues I had with paddle. First, the very thin plastic/rubberized coating on the handles does not go all the way down to the center of the paddle - it stops about a foot up on both sides. When I grip the shaft, my hands are half on the coating and half on the metal shaft. Moving my hands to where they are fully on the coated part of the paddle resulted in my hands being too far apart. So, I will need to add some grip tape or shrink tubing to make the shaft more comfortable. Second, there was a small metal burr or nick on one side of the paddle shaft where they join. It’s small but is bare metal and rough to touch. I’ll probably just file it smooth. Overall, a good beginner paddle that offers good value but you will want to add better grips.

The quality is great and the strength of the handle is very strong.
