Can’t tell you how much I was worried I’d go bald along my temple hairline from silicone & rubber mask straps even with hoods, hair bands & buffs policing my hair but then I saw a fellow dive master & instructor using this style of mask strap & instantly won over! No more slipping out of size, no more ripping hairs & no slipping because the back pad is attached in place to the strap!

This item is not sturdy enough for me in the strap to keep my scuba snorkel place. However, I'm not sure that anyone makes the type of old mask strap that I used to have. I will say it arrived ahead of schedule and they even gave it prority shipping without charging extra! Thank you. There is nothing wrong with the order. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I would certainly order from this company again for other gear.

Based on the description and image, I ordered this one because I thought it was a strap replacement. That is not what I got, this slips over the original mask strap. What is the purpose? I wanted to get rid of the rubber straps and have it secured with velcro that I won't have to constantly readjust. Waste of $$$ didn't even bother using it.

This is a nice replacement strap. It is made of quality webbing and. Plastic hardware, of equal quality to that found on hiking backpacks. The webbing does not stretch, but the neoprene has just enough give to allow the strap to fit over the head and hold the mask securely. I purchased 4, 3 for our 3 boys as their snorkeling mask straps were not very good. The 4th replaced the strap on my wife's mask as the original strap was catching in her hair. One thing to consider: after installing thus strap, you should get the tension on the strap set before your dive (try it in a pool) as it could be difficult to adjust during a dive.

I have masks from several manufacturers (Oceanic, Sherwood/Genesis, Oceanways) and this strap is on all of them. I've tried others, but this one just looks better, and feels great to wear on long dives. I always keep a couple extra in the bag as backups. Definitely worth the money if you spend a lot of time in the water.

I haven't tried this yet but it looks comfortable. I wasn't completely happy with the velcro slap strap I used to use, because the velcro straps were stiff and hurt my ears. I'm disappointed because it doesn't include the plastic keeper shown in the photo. I bought this instead of another strap sold on Amazon for two dollars cheaper because I thought this one had the keeper. Instead is it probably identical structurally to the less expensive strap. Construction looks a little cheap.Regarding the "slippage" complaint that other people have noticed, it doesn't slip if you thread the webbing through correctly. Unfortunately, no instructions are provided to show how this should be done.

Habe mir beim gleichen Lieferanten das Neoprem Maskenband vor ca. 1 Jahr schon mal gekauft.in diversen Urlauben beim schnorcheln, konnte ich es gar nicht wirklich vernden, weil meine Freunding es immer gebraucht hat ;o)Somit habe ich es endlich geschafft mir meins noch einmal zu bestellen und seitdem klemmen und ziepen meine Harre auch nicht mehr.Sehr einfach anzubringen und hält Bombenfest.Tolles Produkt, daher 5 Sterne
