This octopus kite is a lot better than we anticipated. The kite reel is very industrial and professional status. Looks like something a pro would use. Handle extends out to fly and can be stored back down. The stability is outstanding on this and it’s super easy to get up. Size is VERY large with fun bright, vivid colors. We liked how well the legs were wrapped when we first opened it. Super satisfied with this kite, it was definitely constructed well. Great value and well with it! Good way to get the family together outside in some fresh air. We do recommend

I used to enjoy flying kites as a kid and started getting back into it recently as an adult. This kite is fun because it does not have solid structure and just floats in the breeze. The string setup is what helps the kite hold its form. It was easy enough for me to launch on my own just needed to catch the breeze right. The orange octopus looks beautiful while flying and gets nice comments from onlookers. Kite spools are great for managing the string, it makes life so much easier. I can let the real spin after launch to gain height in the breeze. Once I get it about where I want it fold the handle in to lock. It comes with gloves which help protect fingers and hand while operating the spool. Sometimes I need to slow the amount of string being deployed. The gloves make this easier because the reel can get going fast. This product is great for those getting going with kite flying, I am happy with it.

Great kit, sturdy construction. Very long tentacles and kite body is sizable. Simple even a 5 year old can put together. Colors are very vibrant and look amazing.

This kite has no poles or other solid structure. It works because there are multiple strings from it to your main string. It doesn't look like those multiple strings will get easily tangled, though. That makes it fold up very conveniently, but it also makes launch by a single person difficult. Since I intend to fly it with my granddaughter, that's not a problem for me. I'll hold it until the wind takes it or she starts running.We do most kite flying at the beach, but it's been to chilly for that. We took this to a local field just for a quick check-out and it did very well in a somewhat light breeze that a couple others we took to try struggled to stay up in. Whether that also means the top wind it can handle is lower remains to be seen. With most of our high winds this time of year being due to cold fronts, we won't be flying it in high winds in the near future.

Product was ordered 28 Dec 2024, delivered 6 Jan. 2025 with no damage.This kite is well made, with no assembly. It's best to have a 2 person launch. It is an easy flier and performs well under varied wind conditions. It drew a lot of attention at the park, and several children took turns dancing with the octopus. A great reel with lots of string, although a little big for little hands. Get one, you and the Grandchildren will love it.

Overall a great kite. It did not disappoint. So many designs to choose from, this kite is incredibly fun to fly, but what really made me curious is the reel device vs. the normal manual plastic handle. The reel/line came tangled right out of the box (most likely from being jostled during shipping) but was surprisingly easy to untangle. It’s easy to assemble- just need to attach the kite to the reel by the hook and flew smoothly right out of the box.Totally recommend.My kiddo is only 4 so the reel/handle was kind of heavy for him (could not hold one handed but with both of his hands on it- it wasn't too bad) he had so much fun trying.

When I say this kite would blow your mind it’s freaking amazing. It literally can go 400 feet up in the air and it stays up forever. It’s so beautiful people are literally honking when they’re driving by on the freeway. It’s like a phenomenon watching it my brother has a larger one so it made me want to purchase one here as well, also the thing that brings back in the wire is it must have this kind of so big it would take you an hour. Don’t ask me how I know that lol
