I do not have much space to baste a quilt. I have been laying them out on the floor and crawling around pinning them. Then when I get ready to quilt them on my domestic machine, there are still wrinkles that make me repin them again.. It takes forever and since I have had 2 back surgeries, crawling around on the floor is not a good idea. With this, I can use pool noodles and spray the layers as I roll them up without wrinkles! Also, buying the 6-pak saved me a ton of money vs. individual cans. I have 5 more quilt tops to finish and this is a lifesaver. My back thanks you!

This product is excellent to hold my quilt "sandwiches" together. I encourage my quilting students to explore alternatives to basting of the quilt sandwich. I provide the opportunity for them to use this during the classes.

If you are a quilter who spray bastes her quilts for sandwiching, this is definitely the product for you. It may seem a little pricey, but you can get at least 4 crib-size quilts out of 1 can. It's amazing!

This is the only kind I will use. It’s truly the best

If it were not for 505, I wouldn't quilt. I have no patience for pinning. The smell is not at all bad and I love how immediately after spraying, the fabric is repositionable for many minutes in case I make a mistake. Absolutely the best basting spray. I've talked to many people who use this and we all absolutely love it.

I never use any other temporary spray adhesive in my sewing room. I find it never gums up my needle when using it to lay down my fabrics for trim in place embroidery projects. The perfect embroidery accompaniment. If it has a smell I have not noticed it.

Have tried other adhesives for layering my quilts. This is the only one that I’ve found stays in place, doesn’t clog up my needle, it can be pulled apart and sticks back again no problem. Washes out easily. Great product!
