This electric kettle is very sturdy, good quality, functions just as advertised, automatic shut-off, great value for what it cost, boils water to the perfect temperature for tea, cofee, oatmeal, instant soup or anything else. It is easy to use & easy to clean. The base is very light & the whole kettle does shake a bit when the water is boiling. Must be on a sturdy flat surface when in use to keep steady. I still like it, it boils the water is 2-3 minutes. I use it everyday.

This works the same as other "hot pots" or cordless kettles. It looks very nice (I have had it for 3 mos.) and use it all day to boil water for tea, coffee, soups, cleaning water since my water heater is on the other side of the house and it takes several gallons to get hot water. This pot is fast but not significantly over other kettles and I need to increase the volume on the radio to hear it over the pot when it is heating.The inside of the kettle is seamless stainless steel including the spout. The lid is also lined in stainless. It pours well. The lid opens easily and reliably and can be pushed open to 90 degrees. I like it.

My son and I use an electric kettle multiple times a day, and our last one finally died and I had to purchase a replacement. I was out of town and I had looked at them and decided to have him research and pick it out as he uses it more than I do. This one is not my aesthetic at all, doesn't go with our kitchen, and was on the expensive side, but he said it was the only one that had a 2 prong plug (the outlet this would go in only has a 2 prong outlet), so I made the purchase and had it delivered the same day (fabulous that I had that option!)He told me it was great. He loves it and has no problem with it. It boils water quickly, it has a pretty large capacity, its design doesn't bother him.I have a few issues with it, all of these are adaptable, and don't happen with my son, so they might not happen with you. Due to the design of the lid, there is a tiny gap between the lid and base where hot steam can escape when you are pouring the boiling water. If you hold your hand the way I do, this will shoot a tiny bit of hot steam at your thumb. I am already learning not to pick it up that way. I also just don't like the way the whole thing is designed, the lid and how you fill it is awkward, it's a bit brutalist and modern in design, etc. However, I would NEVER have purchased this one on my own in a million years, so take that part of my review with a grain of salt. ;)My son, who picked this one out, loves it. he has zero problems with it, uses it multiple times a day and is very satisfied.If I had actually purchased this myself, I would have returned it just based on the lid design.

Muy elegante y muy práctica. Solo pones agua y listo. Lo único que no me gusta de las hervidoras eléctricas convencionales es que cuando el agua hierve, solo se apaga y listo pero no te avisa de ninguna manera que el agua está lista (como las teteras que chillan). Pero si estás pendiente de tu agua o te quedas en la cocina en lo que hierve el agua, todo bien.
