The feel of it is nice. The backing is rubber and is helpful for staying in place. I do wish it were rolled instead of folded. It will take forever for the creases to flatten. It also STINKS. The smell reminds me of nail polish remover. I needed to air it out outside. It also had a small ink spot on it (see pic) which really doesn't bother me bc it's just for my desk chair. If those things weren't an issue it would be 5☆

My previous carpet I had in here kept rolling up on the edge so I needed something new. This is not only very functional on my hardwood floor, but also super adorable! My cat likes it too… I guess I’m gonna need to get her her own. Lol

Does not work on low pile carpet as described. My office chair is very difficult to maneuver and mat does not stay in place. While it’s a beautiful mat, it does not serve the purpose as described.

This item came folded in a box with enormous crease lines. Not sure if I will keep it or not. It is more like a carpet (with crease lines now) than it is a chair mat.
