My husband uses an office chair when he cooks and rolls around the kitchen on our hardwood floors. I was concerned that the plastic wheels would mark up the floor as we had that happen with this chair in our old house. My husband is a big guy and the weight he put sunk the plastic wheels into the floor and scratched it up. These wheels fit perfectly and are much smoother as he rolls around the kitchen without any impact to the floor. Very glad we got these.

It took all of 3 minutes to swap out the plastic wheeled casters for these ones. These roll incredibly smooth over my wood floors. The old plastic ones were ok, but I could feel every grain of dirt on the floor when I moved the chair. Depending on your old casters, these may raise your chair height an inch or so, but unless your office chair is already at the lowest position, it shouldn't be a problem. They seem much less likely to get hair embedded in the axles than my old ones did (having two dogs has drawbacks for clean floors) as they are higher off the ground.

I HAVE AN OFFICE CHAIR I USE ON CARPET SO THE STANDARD WHEEL WOULD NORMALLY CATCH THE RUG AND TUG, WHICH GOT ANNOYING. SO I TRIED THIS OUT, AND THE DIFFERENCE IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY! MY CHAIR ROLLS MUCH BETTER NOW AND WITH NO ISSUES.

Chair wheels don't seem like a big thing until you swap them out. I grabbed these for my office chair at work. We have your typical hard office carpeting and these wheels make it a breeze to slide across or down the aisle. They do make my chair sit a little bit lower, but nothing that raising the chair a little bit higher couldn't fix. I recommend these wheels in a heartbeat.

These wheels fit my high back executive desk chair. They were easy enough to install. I just yanked the original wheels off and pushed these in. They provide a smoother roll than the original plastic wheels. They are a bit more expensive than others in this category but these are good quality and good construction.

These are really good, so smooth. My chair at work glides silently and effortlessly. Everyone keeps asking me to get them a set. Very good quality, super easy to install, and cheaper than some of the other alternatives out there. Definite recommendation.

These are good wheels, they work very well. But the description shows the wheel diameter is 2 1/2 inches. In reality it is only 2 inches. I could have bought other 2 inch wheels for a better price. I thought I was getting something a little bigger. I'm keeping them because I don't feel like going through the hassle, slight though it is, of returning. They are on the chair, they will stay there. Just beware.
