I wish Amazon had suggested these sooner. I built my office chair out of a Nismo racing seat and an old office chair bottom many years ago. The wheels never rolled easily and were marking my hardwood floor. It took me 5 minutes to install and now my chair moves so fast I need to relearn it. Very smooth, very quiet. Best impulse buy I've made in a long time.

As the title states, these are absolutely amazing. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt that I had to in this instance. Why did it take me so long to get these? They make my chair just glide across the tile floors in my office! I liked them so much, that I had my son try them, and now he has a set for his wife and himself, and my other son wants a set as well! I've only had them for about a week, so I cant speak on durability just yet. But they seem like they'll hold up pretty well. Great idea, excellent execution! The price is a little high, IMHO, but well worth it. You NEED these in your life if you spend a lot of time in your office chair. Just a quick tip... If your office has carpeted floors, I'd stick with the stock casters. These work well on hardwood and tile floors, not so great on carpet and rugs.

I have quite a few office chairs in my home and have purchased many of these “rubber skate†style of wheels for them. However, although they are better for the floor and do roll better than the wheels that are standard on chairs, all of them are difficult to get rolling, no matter what direction they’re facing when you start, and most have issues with sticking: where you have to really push to get it going.It finally occurred to me to focus on quality of the bearings when making my next purchase. That is why I chose this set and they work perfectly! No exertion, no sticking, in fact sometimes rolls too easily.

Perfect for IKEA office chairs and easy to pop them in. Keep in mind that the wheel profile is higher on these than the regular plastic wheels that came with the chairs, so your lowest seat profile will now also be a couple inches higher.They roll super easily (too easily sometimes) on hardwood so be careful when plopping down into the chair in case you roll in an unexpected direction. Occasionally it would get a little stuck/drag on the floor when the wheels aren’t oriented correctly (the outer edge of the wheels isn’t completely smooth so there’s a slight drag once if oriented sideways).

I love these wheels. They replaced the original wheels from my Ikea chair. Very easy to replace. Pull old wheels off and push on new ones. They ride smooth as butter and I have my chair on a designed chair pad. Roll perfect. They are very sturdy and roll in all directions. I think the price for these is perfect.

These casters have been a fantastic upgrade to my chair. Very sturdy. Very smooth. Very quiet. Easy to install. Just pulled the old ones out, popped these in, and viola! Plus, I'm a bigger guy, so sturdiness is a huge factor. I can tell these wheels will hold up in that department.
