I simply needed a regular old fashioned big clip at the hip clipboard and this sent suits my purposes perfectly. The newfangled plastic ones are garbage because the clips are not big bold strong and cannot hold more than a couple pieces of paper. This joker will hold in entire notebook in place!

Strong clipboard, wood it strong, clip made of decent steel and won't bend. Similar quality of my vintage clipboard I've used for 3 decades now. I think they'll hold up just fine.
