These envelopes are precisely constructed and well glued, with a sealable flap (with moisture). Texture is about the same as bulk office envelopes -- not exactly thin, but nowhere as sturdy as kraft paper or envelopes that would need lots of wear and tear. Simple handling results in creases. For storing or gifting cash, or storage of flat objects (such as stamps or cards) it will do. If you need something that will need repeated handling, this product may not be right for you.

There are probably more money envelopes in this package than I even know what to do with, but they do function as intended and hold US dollars perfectly. I use then to send field trip money into my kids' teachers. They're relatively thin paper and I did tape them shut because I don't feel like the envelope glue will stay well, but other than that, they are exactly what I needed.
