The bookends don't look like the picture. If the ends go towards the books, there is only a picture on one of the ends. The second one has to go backwards to hold up books. I would have returned them but I ordered them for my daughter's baby shower and they were sent directly to her. There is some kind of manufacturing defect. The picture is deceiving. If they had worked as they were supposed to they are very cute. Disappointed.

They stay together but the fit and finish of the product is rather novice. I would have returned them but the shipping was just as much as the product cost so now they take up space on a shelf.
