Made of plastic so durability could be an issue but for the price it's worth a try. Fits well and stays put once tightened.

I had a really old, acrylic shower head holder that broke a while back. I Gorilla Glued it back a couple of times, but it finally told me that it was done. Farewell Mon Ami. After some research I found this and it works beautifully!

If your slide bar fits the hole extremely well, this might work, but if it's smaller than the hole, this won't work. There are multiple design flaws which will allow the weight of the shower head to torque the holder down and prevent it from attaching well. The mechanism designed to clamp onto the bar is very poorly designed, preventing good tightening and causing it to loosen easily. Bottom line is that it doesn't work to hold the shower head in place. I returned this one and ordered another brand (one without the design flaws), and the new one is working very well.

This was an inexpensive fix to the problem of our hand-held shower's original bracket losing its grip. Only time will tell how long the adjustable plastic gripper will does its job, but for now it's great. One has to remove the lower attachment point from the chrome bar that holds the shower head bracket, and it was easier with two people rather than one. But other than that, installation was simple.

It's not really "Universal". I checked the diameter of the accessory bar beforehand - but not the showerhead holder, and it was too small! Be sure to read the measurement instructions (both parts).

The plastic hand-held showerhead holder that was attached to the bar in my shower was old enough that it finally cracked, so I needed to replace it. I wanted a quick and easy fix, so I found this "Amazon's Choice" universal replacement. It arrived the next day and was extremely easy to setup/install. It fit my existing vertical shower bar, and it holds the showerhead in place snugly enough. My only complaint is that this feels extremely cheap (for the price, this shouldn't surprise me), so I wouldn't be surprised if I have to replace this within a year or two. But at this price and for the easy of installation, that's a small trade-off.

My the shower in my rented unit was broken. landlord replaced the shower head. However the shower head did not properly fit the original holder, eventually it cracked. Went around Home Depot and the prices were stupid. Got this, reviews were less about 4 stars, was a bit skeptical.It however fits like a glove, used it for 6 months until the LL had to move back in. But till then it had a strong grip and it just did a really god job good job. Takes less than 10 second to install.

Very easy to install looks great but you have to tighten it hard or it will move round.... took me a little while but it works
