I bought to store household rolls of tape. Perfect for the purpose. Extra large rolls went on one holder and I used 2 dowels only. I used all 4 dowels on the other with smaller rolls and used rolls up to 3 inches. Am satisfied and actually surprised it worked so well.

I am a seamstress and often make tutus and other items with satin ribbon trim. I always have difficulty with keeping the ribbons straight without them rolling away, and this has definitely helped to prevent that. The wood is mid-grade quality, and feels like it will be durable enough for what it's needed for. I do feel that it could break easily, but as long as it's being used solely as intended, I am not too concerned.

You get exactly what this looks like in the product page - it's just a piece of wood with holes drilled in it and dowels that sit in that. Everything is smooth on mine with no burrs, however, so it's suitable to then stain or paint as you desire (IF you desire to do so).I believe the price is in line for what you get, and it's the storage I needed. Recommend.
