So light I thought it was plastic. Moves and slips across counter if not very careful. It can actually turn over as well. Not for heavy use. Not for students working alone, unmonitored. Disappointing. Additionally the scale will not balance to zero if you measure out a dozen chemicals in small separate containers.........you cannot get scale to go to zero. So factoring in weight of any containers is impossible.Not for student use in a class, not for my use when measuring chemicals.Simply a very poor model of a classic lab essential.
