2. Squeeze the cutter, twist it for a one-quarter turn.
3. Remove the foil cutter, and the foil on the wine is gone.

I was surprised that they worked so well when I tried them. They look flimsy. And it didn’t even look like they had a cutter, but sure enough, they work great. They don’t work as well on some European wine bottles that seem to have a slightly wider than normal neck. But even on those, they still work, you just have to try cutting it a couple of times to get through the lead foil in the right place.

Such a simple little tool, but makes such a difference. I am still using the first one I took out of the package and it cuts the foil perfectly every time. I twist it around the bottle for 6 counts and the foil is perfectly cut and pops right off. I love that it has two tiny magnets on the back so that I can put it on the side of my refrigerator and I don't have to dig through a basket or drawer for it. I have high hopes that these will last me for quite a while seeing as there are 4 in the pack, but for the price point it wouldn't be a terrible expense to have to replace them if needed sooner than hoped for and I already feel that I have gotten my money's worth.

These are great value for money and they work really well when they are new. The problem is that they break down quickly - last count was after 20-30 bottles opened. Why did I give them 4 stars? Well, for the price you are paying, even if they break after that many bottles, they are still more cost effective than other brands I've used.

the cutters are on bearings so they roll. Using one of these for 6 months and cuts like new still. Great product.

There have been plenty of times I’ve cut my finger or hand from a coworker poorly opening a wine bottle and I can happily say since ordering this for my bar I have not cut myself since!Clean cut and well worth the money in my opinion

I now have a lifetime supply of foil cutters. These cut quickly and efficiently. My original cutter was very similar to these and lasted for many years. When it broke I was not able to find a similar style locally and bought one with fixed cutters instead of cutter wheels. That one was worthless and lasted only a short time. These have the cutter wheels and work easily and cleanly. Would not hesitate to buy again, except with four in a package, I probably will have enough for many more years.

Easily cuts the foil off of wine. My old foil cutter was so dull that I would have to use so much pressure and strength. This is so much easier and for the price - it's a no brainer. Great product. Definitely purchase this one!

They just don't last. Metal fastener comes out, cutter falls off - onto the next one. That said they are inexpensive. In all honesty I'd pay more for just one if it was quality. I haven't yet found such an item.

The first time I used this it fell to pieces. Needless to say I am returning it for a refund. Please don't waste your time and money on this. I only gave it one star because there is no option for zero stars.

Poorly made. All 4 have broke within a few weeks of purchasing. The foil cutters fall off.
