Love the red color, cuts well, easy on my hand, comfortable when cutting fabric. Light weight. Only use them for fabric tho.

My daughter just got into sewing and she needed some of these sheers to help her make her pillows. I went with these based off their price point and great reviews.The first thing that noticed about these sheers was that they were very sturdy and extremely solid. They are easy to hold and have a non-slip grip. The few issues that I have with these shears though, otherwise they are perfect.First, they have a lighter fluid like smell on the handels, that transfers to your hand when you use them. Not a huge deal, but it is noticeable. Also, the shears are pretty stiff. It takes a little force to get them to cut.Don't get me wrong, these are some great shears and cuts perfectly. Its zig-zag patterns were as advertised. I highly reccomedn these sheers. I believe the smell will eventually wear off and the tension will loosen as times go by and they are used. Then theses heavy duty sheers will be perfect.

Not sharp like a chef's knife, but sharp enough. I could cut through up four layer of my fabrics except for heavy wovens.

For the price they're great. They've actually been easier to use than other name brands, but I was able to buy 2 pairs for much less than 1 super nice pair. They don't like cutting through thicker fabrics as well as others I have used.
