I give a lot of credit to the makers of these little birdies for their creative ingenuity in designing and manufacturing a truly unique and delightful product! When we received them in the mail we found these light-up birdies to be exactly as nice and as functional as they appear here in the product page's photos/videos. The colors are bright and easily visible at night, they fly just as well as a typical birdie, and they haven't broken or malfunctioned at any point. It's easy to press the little button on the inside that turns the light-up feature on and off, and they've provided us with tons of fun :) Would highly recommend for kids and families of all ages!

Real feather. Very durable. My daughter likes to play badminton. You know how the little birdie camouflage into background and very hard to see until it flys right into your eyes... it’s not glow feather , it’s a led light in the center. We turned it on even it was still bright. And it turned out great. When it’s getting darker, we didn’t feel any discomfort. Very nice product. Worth of money . I would recommend to my friends. Actually it’s a good gift for a young kid.

I will say this shuttlecock honestly is not the most durable. If you are an experienced player, you will wear this out in probably one game. Honestly after hitting one full game the edges were pretty much done for. It was mostly just me smashing and rallying back and forth. I also gave one to my niece and nephew and they just did a simple rally. It work well and it does light up. Honestly you would play in the dark with these shuttlecocks. They are not as durable or fluid as feather based shuttlecocks. That being said, I will say it is a fun little device that lights up different colors. It is very easy to see and also it is great to have for teaching purpose i feel as well. My niece and nephews have an easier time seeing the shuttlecocks. Overall I think this is a great teaching tool and it is a fun device to have.

Perfect little birdies. Well made and very durable. I've had them for a week and they're actually holding up very well. Made with what appears to be actual goose feathers, we've gotten plenty of gameplay with them. They are easily seen at night and make for some fun late night games. As far the life of the light, it'll be a test of time, idk how long they'll last but they are definitely worth their price and have held up well so far. Also note: I don't see any way to replace the battery for the light.

These lighted birdies were a pleasant surprise.I've never used these before and was expecting something cheap and disappointing, where the lights wouldn't be effective and the weight and balance of the birdie would be off. I didn't think it would be possible to play in the dark even with the lights.But these are great quality, professional level birdies, and the lights work great for play in the dark or in dim light! I am used to inexpensive plastic birdies that we use until they fall apart, so these ones were the best I've played with lately. The only drawback is that the "real" feathered birdies like these aren't as durable as the plastic in my experience, so they may not last as long; but then, the battery won't last forever either so that doesn't bother me.The light shines brightly out the back of the birdie, so it glows softly as it flys towards you, and then you get a cool "flare" effect after you hit it, while it is flying away from you. Playing in the dark was difficult at first, but it can be done (although I wouldn't try keeping score!) It especially helps at dusk in low light conditions.Now Ohuhu just needs to add some cool sounds that go off when you hit it!

These were super fun to play with at twilight and even pitch black outside. However, if you have adults or larger kids, the force from hitting the birdie will sometimes shut the light off and then eventually stopped working all together. The birdies themselves lasted longer than the led lighting. These were very fun and I think that I will get more light up birdies, but will try a different brand to see if they will handle the impact better and stay on longer.

Update: seller contacted me and is sending replacements! Great customer service highly recommend. It's great to know there are still companies that care about their customers and this is one of them!We started buying these last year and had loads of fun with them. They were very durable and lasted until the feathers broke off but this time I ordered a 4 pack and a 6 pack. Played with them 2 times have have already went through all of them. The light either comes out completely or they start cutting off after 3-4 hits. With this alabama heat and humidity night time is about the only time we can play outside and we love badminton so this really sucks. Bring back the ones from last year please!! BTW the flashy ones are a bit to flashy and if you are sensitive to flashy lights don't use the one in each pack that flashes.

My husband and I are in to keeping active. We usually are hiking but when our friends and family come over, we try to get everyone to participate in a game or activity. One of the favorite go to games is Badminton. This is very friendly for all ages, but when we are playing and it could last an hour or two depending on the amount of people playing, it easily gets dark soon. We usually try to play the last couple of hours before our guest leave our home..:) So these glow in the dark birdies come out and the excuses of it's getting dark and I can't see are no longer a valid point to stop playing. The colors are amazingly vibrant and so much fun. They actually liven up the last hour of the game. Everyone always compliment are their colors, will ask where they came from and express how awesome they are. We LOVE them.

Die Bälle fliegen hervorragend und im Dunkeln zu spielen macht schon echt Laune, weil es dann bei uns meistens am windstillsten ist. 😅 Das die Batterien nicht ewig halten ist klar, aber die Bälle sind auch ohne Beleuchtung super und meist eh irgendwann im Gebüsch verloren, ich werde sie definitiv wieder kaufen!

Muy divertidas para jugar con poca luz al final del dia y por la noche.La única pega es que una de las 4 plumas luce con varios colores e intermitentes y no la usamos porque te vuelves loco. Pero con las otra 3 que son de colores fijos son una maravilla.

As described, birdie lights up changing colours. They weigh a bit more but worked great. Kids played with them at dusk at campsite.
