Very sturdy worth the money use on catterpiller equipment

These filter pliers are monsters they can get even the biggest diesel commercial truck filters off with ease. I work with peterbilts, kenworths and international commercial trucks and they can get HF 6167s, LF 9009s off you name it they can do it. These pliers can produce good torque around plastic filter casings as well as aluminum filter bodies very little effort to take off even the tightest filters. Including fuel and hydraulic filters. They are also great for breaking loose air dryers for the air brake systems in commercial trucks.The grip is excellent and the teeth on these pliers will bite down hard on filters. These are my go to filter pliers I rarely even use my other pliers. If you work with large size filters and need a great set of pliers to break loose stubborn filters this is the tool you should be using. Highly recommend.

Don’t use it as often as I’d hope but when I need it, it’s the best oil filter wrench in the shop. Great for CAT and CUMMINS filters
