When our dogs got too old to easily climb the stairs, we ordered these as a last-ditch alternative to keeping them downstairs. It worked like a charm! They easily run up and down the stairs now, because of the slip-resistance provided by these treads. We also love that the design blends in with the wood. Since we are using them for functionality, the low-contrast was exactly what we were hoping for as well. Great product!

We got these for safety on the steps, to more clearly see the edge of the steps when descending, and to avoid slipping when going up or down in socks. They are acceptable for both of these goals. And although the fabric looks nice, they came folded and even after about 3 weeks the folds haven’t come out. In addition they also move around when stepped on so I have to repeatedly straighten them. I’ll try moistening them and drying them flat to get rid of the folds, then adding double/sided tape to keep them in place.

Bought these for my son’s dog. He won’t go upstairs on wood. We put these down and up he goes. Lay flat and stay where they are put!

Love the look of these stair treads. I’m very happy with how they look and how they are working out so far. Time will tell how long they last, but worth it!

Not as described in description. The color does not match what it says at at all. When I received they were brown and not black.

Without tape the non-slip tread holds the runner on a wood stair tread. Purchased to aid cats. Surprised to find the runner worked with bare feet no issue!

We needed a quick fix for our older dog and slippery wood stairs. These do the job, but they shift around, don't lie flat and certainly don't look as expensive as the marketing.
