Blades are made of hot hammer-forged "Izumo Yasuki Steel", which is used in the making of Japanese swords-giving them maximum sharpness and cutting power. Tempered to a 60 on the Rockwell scale. 6" blade, 20" overall.

this is just a good product for this price, light and sharp, not too long not too short, keep it clean and sharpen with a stone when gets dull and it willl serve you well.

Wow! This shears is way too good compared to what we currently use. Look and feel screams great quality and super sharp out of the box. It is already oiled but like any tool, this will require oiling to prevent rust. Hope it will last. Good value for your money! 👍👍

As soon as the box arrived I snipped at my shabby hedge and could not believe how easy these things work. I'm hoping to try my hand at basic topiary and these are a good start. Quiet! Sharp! Lightweight!

Best pair of Hedge Shears I have owned, very sharp, easy to handle for my very arthritic hands and weak wrists. I use them for a lot of different jobs, the weight and balance is great! Took me a long time to find a shear of this quality - you'll never find it in a 'big box store'. Thank you Okatsune, I will definitely purchase more of your products.

Absolutely the BEST hedge shears I've ever owned ... and I've been gardening for a VERY long time. Before I would always cheap out and buy some less expensive shears but decided to treat myself this time as I am not getting any younger and anything that eases my gardening is appreciated. So glad I did. Slice through even thick bushes like butter. Go ahead and treat yourself to an excellent tool as I did ... instead of going for the cheaper ones that you know you will end up throwing away after a season.

赤と白のシンボルマークの寿の岡常は、父の代から使い続けていますが、切れ味が鋭く刃こぼれしづらいですね。岡常の長い刈り込み鋏になると、やや重いですが、気になるほどでも有りません。欧米でも使われている岡常の鋏、やはり切れ味と耐久性がポイントでしょうね。

Exceptionally well made, producing a nice sharp and even clip - they look like they’ll last a long time. The blades are shorter than most, and thus you will have more work if you are trimming large hedges. A minor reservation.

いまの所よく切れて助かっています。前に使っていた剪定鋏が長く使えたので今回購入した物も期しています。取っ手が木製で少し重いのが難点です。
