We got this carpet because our bathroom floor cannot stay dry. Whether it's because of random occurrences kids or just people not knowing how to not drop water on the floor, we don't know, we need a solution, so this was the first test to that solution.It arrived in pretty decent packaging without any holes or anything. So as that should be a given, it was really appreciated.The mat itself is a little bit small but 2 feet can fit on it as can be seen in the pictures, which is good enough considering that this is going in the bathroom.So we put this right in front of the bathtub aka the problem area and in front of the toilet so people can put their feet on something that's not ceramic tile. And I will have to tell you that this thing stays pretty warm and it's pretty soft. Very comfortable for the feet.The real amazement comes in the fact that this is supposed to absorb water and keep your floors dry. The main reason that we got it for. And for having people who cannot stop water from getting on the floor or don't clean water coming off the floor...... I have yet to feel water on that floor with that carpet sitting right next to the bathtub.We would have water on the floor at least multiple hours during the day until somebody cleaned it up. But what this map there our floor in that bathroom has been meticulously dry to our complete amazement.The mat somehow even went absorbing water manages to get dry within less than an hour and a half itself and that's from being fully soaked. I don't know what type of material that this is or anything but I've never seen anything So impressive.I know a lot of people hate wet bathroom floors, especially cold bathroom floors. This solves both of those problems easily. We don't know if we have to take this thing out and let it dry out in the sun from all the water it's absorbed, but this thing has managed to stay dry no matter what.It's managed to stay so dry after multiple drenchings of our bathroom floor, that we are concerned that we are not doing something right in terms of finding a way to get rid of any leftover water residue or anything left in the mat.....If there is any.This has been probably the first time that something has been described as a water absorbent mat and it actually do exactly what it says to such a degree that it makes us question ourselves if we're supposed to be doing something to help it.But regardless, considering the softness and a warmth of the mat...... We're going to get another one and put it in that same bathroom. But this time a much bigger one because it is that soft and it is that comfortable.

Love this bathroom rug -- it is soft, cushy, well-made, and very elegant looking. Color is gorgeous -- very rich and rug texture is almost velvety!

My rug came in the mail rolled up which made me upset since it made it super lumpy and look bad. I gave it some time and just used it over a few days I noticed it finally flatten out and changed my opinion on it. I saw other reviews they received it flat not rolled so yours could come in differently packaged. The rug is soft and adsorbs water. Drys fairly quickly. Make sure you choice the right size because they have larger sizes to chose from.

Updated to 5 stars!After a wash or two shape evened out and comfortably absorbent. Resists spots, still looks like new after plenty of daily use. Washes easily, for dryer used gentle and then finished hang dry. Would highly recommend and would buy again … but probably not soon because this one looks like it will last.Original review:Very pleased - we bought dark beige. This rug is thick with a luxurious nap. It’s wider (24â€) than some others which is what we learned we wanted. Previously returned a narrower version of a similar item that was an Amazon recommendation. That was nice too but just 20†wide. The extra width makes a difference when getting out of shower and standing at sink. Doesn’t slide around either - we have it on a designer stained concrete floor with glossy finish.Be sure to measure your area or current rug before ordering - that would have saved us time and the need to return other items. Delivery for this rug was estimated about two weeks compared with others that arrived in just a day or two (although now site seems to show a faster delivery). The wait turned out to be worth it. We ended up returning the others anyway and this one did arrive a bit sooner.Giving four stars instead of five because of just a couple of small negatives:• It is slightly misshapen from shipping but hopefully will straighten after first wash. Already seems to be straightening. Other reviews with pictures show the same thing.• Not super-absorbent right after getting out of shower, maybe because of the plush finish. Some beading of water from wet feet … but that may change after washing too. There may be a light coating on the fabric which keeps it looking clean and new. Probably best to wash in cold water and dry on cool or just hang dry to preserve finish and protect non-slip backing.Color (dark beige) is especially nice, a rich warm tone. Other beige ones seem much lighter. Fabric has a nap - looks lighter from one direction and darker from another - nice option if you are color matching. This rug still looks fresh and clean after several weeks of regular use and doesn’t seem to trap dirt or shows spots. Ours is a busy bathroom used all day long after showers but also coming and going and wearing shoes. Looks clean even though it’s a light color, and continues to look new, not showing wear or tracking at all - seems like it should last a long time.Would recommend and plan to buy again.

Folded, creased, terrible smell, smaller than expected.UPDATED: from 1 stars to 3It has been a few days and it plumped up a little and is soft but still has a huge crease through the center.

Really cute really comfortable to the feet. I just purchased another one so I really like it. Slip resistant is good. It doesn’t slip the value for the money I’m gonna say no on that. Washable doesn’t fade it. doesn’t you know hold lint or anything like that? Functionality is great.

We bought this for in front of our shower. It is not bad, but not as good as the pictures depict. Also, there was nothing in the package to remind you to allow the foam time to gain air and fluff. Other than that it's very soft and nice looking.
