VERY high quality cotton with cotton fill, that is comfortable and, while quilted (*) in large 8x8" squares to keep the filling from moving around, has no discernable annoying bumps or texture, it is smooth feeling and remains cool and dry. Fits a an 18" deep mattress and elastic holds firm - it does not slip off the corners under the sheets. Have slept on it for over a month, its been washed twice. so far with no signs of any issues. This is NOT a waterproof cover but simply a extra layer of protection to protect our very expensive mattress from being soiled by normal usage - if you have a flat top unquilted mattress this will add some softness to it (* but its not a Quilted Mattress Topper). Bought form Amazon - paid $20 and it is nicer than the $60 one we returned. Exceptional Value - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

THIS IS JUST WHAT I WANTED!! SOFT TO THE TOUCH & EASY TO PUT ON THE BED! I got it at a great price too!!I haven't washed it yet, but it's made pretty well! Great in the padding dept. It feels like you're sleeping on a cloud!Thank you!!

It's a perfectly fine mattress cover- padded nicely and it's nice to sleep on. Doesn't get too hot. But the beige color was not as I had expected - it's way more pastel orangey than beige, which wasn't what I wanted and it's a little gaudy, but it's otherwise functionally fine.

I purchased a queen size mattress topper. It is soft. I like the grid. However it is too short for a queen bed, and not wide enough for the queen bed it will work, but I am not impressed with the sizing.
