This ornament is sparkly and gorgeous, which is typical of all Old World Christmas ornaments. My only complaint is that it did not come in an Old World Christmas box but was only wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a larger Amazon box. I like the boxes for storage so will have to be careful with this one!

As previous posters have mentioned, this arrived with most of the tail fibers fallen out due to the way it was packed. It was wrapped very tightly all over with paper with no regard to the fragility of the tail which-all things being equal doesn't look too much like a swallow tail anyway. We kept it but felt maybe we could get a percentage off the item for this as it's a bit dissapointing but we don't want to go through the trouble if they want us to send the item back and send us a replacement etc.

This was the most awesome Christmas ornament for me in 2020. Our mother passed away in July 2020, bluebirds were her favorite. Her favorite song was of a bluebird and a phrase she frequently said was "a little birdie told me". I ordered 2 of these ornaments and gave one to my sister and one to my brother as a remembrance of her. My sister will be keeping her bluebird on display all the time in a cabinet that belonged to our mother. A new year and promising hopes that it is going to be better, I soon hope to deliver my gift to my brother.
