Ofla, do I need to say anything more? LOL I bought this for my quilting projects and to cut small pieces for other sewing projects. They work very well, as Olfa usually does.

I have several other Olfa cutting tools I have used for years that have been great but this is my first rotary cutter. When I first tried it I was a little disappointed because it seemed to slip and skid a bit an the cuts weren't clean. I have only cut construction paper with it so far so it might behave differently cutting different things; I don't know. With construction paper, the surface you put the paper on makes a big difference. I probably should have got a dedicated cutting mat but I figured I could improvise with something around the house.Plain brown cardboard like from packaging was not very helpful. It definitely prevented me from cutting through to the table but the piece I was working on slipped too much. Wood was no good because it pressed in and deformed the construction paper along where I was cutting more than I wanted. The best things I found ended up being a plastic place mat and a piece of paperboard with a glossy printed label from something else I bought a while back.Once I found a good surface to work on I was pretty happy with this thing. It's possible to make fairly intricate curving cuts that would be much harder with an X-acto knife or similar.I don't know how often I'll use it but it was only $10 and probably saved $50 in frustration on my project so I'm happy.

The 18mm size lets me get into corners and around tight curves. OLFA quality but not perfect. The guard only exposes a small part of the blade, maybe 1/8" (3 mm). Even though I'm sure this would cut 1/4" foam it won't because of the guard. It also won't cut the end of my finger off so not all bad.I find holding it awkward. I hold it more like a pencil than a utility knife. It works but I would use something else if I had to use it all day.I try to use it on a cutting mat to extend the life of the blade.

I was a bit wary of purchasing a rotary cutter at all initially - I've never owned one before and this is so far my only rotary tool. I don't regret it in the least. This cutter does exactly what I need. I use it to cut just about any line into fabric; curved lines, wiggly lines, I even use it to cut out circles. It requires a steady hand and a little force but after a bit of practice, I feel that I've all but mastered it.The cover slides up to cover the blade when not in use and it's easy to hold and maneuver. I will definitely be buying Olfa for my next rotary tools. I love it!Edit:It's been a little over a year now and I still use this to cut curves into fabrics like minky and fleece with ease. I've never had issues with it and with relatively light use, I still haven't found the need to change the blade. It's perfect for small cutting jobs but for anything big or extensive, a larger rotary blade is necessary. One tool is never suitable for every single job but this one is still a perfect addition to my sewing toolbox. I personally keep this handy, plus one larger rotary cutter, a circle cutter (this small rotary cutter will cut circles rather effectively, though), and a pair of sharp scissors.

I love this cutter. It’s sharp and it cuts through fabric like butter. The small size allows for very finicky, precise cuts. It’s a very useful tool.

I can see where this will come in handy when I am cutting out smaller quilt pieces. The blade is a bit flimsy but that is to be expected due to its size. It can only cut 2 or 3 layers of quilting cotton. It works really well with my small templates, which leads to less waste.

I bought this for cutting sewing patterns (paper), but have used it on tight corners when cutting fabric too. It's been sharp and effective.Only complaint is I wish there was a better safety mechanism like on the olfa 45mm cutters (you have to actively squeeze the handle for the blade to come out). And even with that I've cut myself several times. So I'll very likely cut myself with this thing, but I can't find a small cutter with a similar safety mechanism.

De los mejores cutters que he comprado. Se adapta muy bien a las curvas y cortes muy pequeños.

I bought this one to go around tight corners. I am still learning with this one but happy with the results so far.

wollte einen Cutter mit kleinere Klinge für engere Kurven bei Babykleidung, aber dieser ist schon sehr klein. Kann ihn leidernur ganz selten benutzen.
