Set up a home gym and this olympic bar was needed for bench press. Solid, sturdy, good texture on the grip. 5 stars for the product. 2 stars on the packaging. It arrives mostly covered. Oversized shipping materials came apart in transit and part of the bar was exposed. No damage, so I shouldn't complain, but there you have it.

Bar came in good shape though container was struggling a bit to keep it in. Bar is solid and a great price. Holds Olympic weights with ease. Great for benching, squats and deadlifts.

Great price. Bar works good. I don't see it ever breaking in the future. It isn't as grippy as I would like it to be but over time I have gotten used to it and don't notice anymore. Does the job overall.

I bought this barbell bar, as I am building a home gym. I am the type of person that likes to do his due diligence and research extensively before buying. Given the amount of equipment that I had to initially buy to build my home gym, I had to find a balance between price and quality for my barbell bar, as I had no desire to pay for an arm and a leg for a bar, and after much research, this bar was it.This bar punches well above its weight when it comes to quality. The weight rating for this bar is 500 pounds, and it seems to hold pretty well. I am strong, but I've still got 100 lbs of buffer from my max deadlift. This bar will serve the needs of over 99% of people who work out, easily.The bar is a pretty standard 7 feet, which I was expecting it to be. It feels no different than a regular barbell bar on commercial gyms.The barbell bar has been solid for me so far, and has taken all the weight and abuse through which I have put it. I have had no issues with rotating it into different positions or anything like that, and fits comfortably in my hands and neck/upper back when squatting.I have noticed that Olympic plates can sometimes struggle to be inserted into the sides of the bar, as of the bar was just a bit too thick, but that has been a minor issue for me so far, and does not take away from the quality of it.One somewhat more serious concern with this bar is that it came with some steel flakes that could have easily sliced my hands had I not found them before I got cut. I highly recommend that of you do buy this barbell bar, to inspect it very closely before using it, just in case you run into the same issueOverall, this bar is still a solid bar, offers great quality, and will not break the bank.

it seams like there are no inner bearings on the bar ends, so there is a little play, but for lifts that dont require any whip or plate roll this is perfect for the money basically worth its weight in steel when it comes to gym equipment

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 5 years now and used many bars while being a member of 6 different gyms. This bar is equivalent to any bar I’ve ever used. I would 100% recommend this bar instead of paying $200 plus on a more expensive one. The grip is good, spins correctly, and just feels great.
