We purchased these for our Olympic weight set full size and curling bars. They have held up well over the past several weeks of continuous use and are holding the weights tight against the bar collar. I like how easy they are to install and remove - a quick press down and a quick flip of the thumb is all that is required to use these. We love the bright green color, they do not get lost against the black floor mats or forgotten about on the bar.

These are my first non-spring bar clamps, so I can't compare with others of this type. However, I like these way more than my spring clamps. They are much easier to take on and off, and I have no doubt that they will hold the plates securely in place.The clamp is mostly made of a tough plastic, probably polycarbonate or similar, with some steel pivot pins and screws. As such, it may not last as long as ones made of various metals in place of the plastic, especially if left exposed to direct sunlight. I will not be using these in an unshaded space.From using these for several workouts with multiple plate changes per workout, these do inspire confidence.Given their price of only $10 per pair and availability in five different colors, I think they are a great choice. I'll revise my review if they disappoint in the future, but unless that happens, my five-star rating stands.

Picked up these Olympic barbell clamps for my workout sessions, and they've got a grip like steel! On their first run, one clamp's locking piece snapped off, which had me worried. Surprisingly, they've still got a solid hold on the bar, probably because they're quite stiff right now. They're hanging on tight, but I'm keeping an eye on them as they wear in. Four stars – they’re strong, but let's hope they stay that way even as they loosen up.

I use these clips every day at the gym. They are sturdy and close securely. Great item!

much better than the metal spring locks. easy to put on and take off. holds the weight on the straight bar and the deadlift bar. it works great. probably will get another pair in another color. gotta look good!

It works good holding the weight on the barbell. The locking mechanism is a little weird and harder to unlatch then other clips I've had in the past
