On July 1, 2022 I purchased a pair of “OMID Comfortable Polarized Anti-Fog Swimming Goggles†(smoke, all black frame),,, along with a 2 oz. bottle of "Stream-2-Sea Reef Friendly Mask & Googles Defoggerâ€. I swim open water (quarry lake) 3-5 x’s per week during warmer months, swimming non-stop for 60 to 120 minutes per session. I’d been using “Vanquisher 2.0†goggles for the past several years but, despite correct adjustment, they would always begin digging into my eye sockets after an hour or so, and leave me with a bad case of ‘raccoon eyes’. I decided to try out the OMID goggles, seeking greater comfort. The OMID goggles feature softer, larger eye cushions that are dramatically more comfortable. They truly do provide greatly-improved panoramic vision. The inner surface of the contoured plastic lenses already have their own anti-fog coating, but “factory coatings†can be fragile and eventually lose their effectiveness. I bought the 2 oz. Stream-2-Sea as 'insurance' to help assure that the OMID goggles could remain fog-free as long as possible. Out of the box, I first gently washed the new OMID goggles with a minimal amount of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo (BS), --not their newer “Head to Toe†formulation. They are similar, but not the same. SEE MY PHOTO’s showing the slight differences in their published ingredients. A Word of Caution: When washing plastic-lens swim goggles, you always need to be as GENTLE as possible. A little particle of sand being rubbed across the lenses can scratch them. OK,,, I rinsed my new goggles in room-temperature tap water, then applied the smallest amount of Johnson's BS, being careful to use the slightest finger pressure possible, then rinsed them in the tap water. My tap water leaves ‘spots’ when it dries, so I do a final rinse with some distilled water for a spot-free finish. Once dry, I applied one drop of the Stream-2-Sea anti-fog gel to each inner lens and used my wet finger to GENTLY spread a thin, uniform coating. I then added a tiny amount of distilled water to each lens “cup†and swirled it a few seconds before pouring off the water. I allowed them to air-dry to a clear, streak-free coating, and then put them into my ‘swim bag’, ready for use. I swam 90 minutes in the 83F lake water that next morning. The OMID goggles never leaked, and they never fogged up. The polarized, fog-free view was so much better than with the Vanquisher goggles. I finished my swim and I immediately put the goggles into the OMID carry bag that came with them, being careful to not touch the lenses (there’s no clean rinse water available at the lake). Once home, I washed my hands to remove any possible sand particles (which can scratch the plastic lenses) before rinsing the goggles thoroughly under tap water. Then I dabbed a tiny amount of BS onto each wet lens and used a modified* Q-tip to gently clean their fragile inner surfaces. (* I get a Q-tip and pull the cotton to stretch it longer, then use the stretched portion to gently go over the lens surface.) I then rinse the goggles with tap water, followed by a distilled water rinse. Before they dry, I use the Q-tip (or a tiny, soft-bristle artist brush) to paint a uniform coating of the Stream-2-Sea anti-fog gel onto the inner lenses. To smooth out this coating, I add some drops of distilled water to make a little ‘puddle’ in each lens cup. After a few seconds of swirling, I pour off the water and check to see that there are no remaining streaks of the Stream-2-Sea. If there are some streaks, I just rinse them with a few more drops of the distilled water and check them again. Once they are totally streak-free, I ‘stand up’ the goggles to let them air dry (similar to what you do with a washed dinner plate). I’ve now used my new OMID goggles 9 times, and they are still in like-new condition. Not a single scratch. They never leak, and they never fog, even when pushed to the limit. Over the past couple weeks, my swims have included a few that were two hours long (in sunny, 90 degree Heat Wave conditions). My old “Vanquisher†goggles would have begun fogging up in just minutes. But, the existing ‘factory’ anti-fog coating already on the OMID goggles, in combination with the Stream-2-Sea anti-fog coating that I also apply, has worked perfectly for me. And, the ‘soft-cushion’ design of the OMID googles has completely eliminated the eye-socket discomfort,,, and no more “raccoon eyes†(which made me look like I had bad eye bags or something.) My goggle-washing and anti-fog procedure may seem very lengthy and tedious when you sit there and read about it, but it soon becomes routine, taking only 5 minutes. I can now enjoy swimming comfortably for HOURS with absolutely no fogging, and it’s keeping my $26 swim goggles looking brand new. The OMID comfort goggles -and- the Stream-2-Sea anti-fog gel are an effective combination for any ‘distance swimmer’.

These swim goggles are incredibly comfortable and I can see through them with crystal clarity when I’m swimming my laps, without leakage or fogging. I was worried when I ordered them about the non-adjustable nose bridge as my eyes are close set, but that turned out not to be an issue at all. I highly recommend these. (And no, there’s no personal compensation or perks for posting this review. It’s just my honest opinion.)

Very comfortable and very clear. Definitely a good set of goggles. The anti-fog is ok, lasted about 3, 45 minute sessions before some fogging up occurred. Bought some anti-fog spray so will see how that goes, but overall a good set of goggles.

I got polarized swim goggles because in the afternoon the sun in my backyard hit our eyes very badly. These goggles really have solved the problem. Now we can play in the swimming pool in the best hours of the day (around 6 pm to 8 pm). Fit is very good, no water leaks inside unless you fo a cannon ball or a flip in the water. A friend of mine borrowed them at the beach and said they're really good. Image through them is clear. Glad we don't have to squint anymore.

I swim for cardio and fitness reasons. I do not compete. Goggles are absolutely necessary, but I don't need $100 pairs of them laying around. These are finally my budget-friendly, but quality/performance match I was looking for. I needed something that I won't have to de-fog every 2 laps, and something that was comfortable enough to wear for 20-30 minutes I spend swimming each time. The goggles are comfortable, they don't leak at all, and barely fog up. If you can keep the insides dry at all times, they're great. Once a little water gets in, they fog a little. But, it is much more manageable and less frequent than all the others I have tried in this price range. I can get through at least 20 min of swimming before this is an issue. And even when it is, the fogging is minimal - hardly enough to complain about. If you asked me yes/no, black/white, "Do they fog up?" My answer would be "no." I think all goggles will eventually fog up under certain circumstances, but some are much worse than others. The OMIDs are more in the "fogging not an issue" category. At least they don't leak. THAT is an awesome relief. They come with a nice cloth bag, so you can store them in your gym bag without getting them scratched. I rinse with fresh water each time I use them and store them away in the bag. So far, after several months, I'm loving them. I'll probably grab a second pair, just to have on-hand.

I bought these goggles to use in the pool while swimming with my kids. I don't need them to be competition-ready and they probably would not be appropriate for that application. But for just casual pool time and exercise, these goggles get the job done. They are comfortable and fit my face without any issue. I love the polarized lenses because I can wear them as sunglasses in the water to cut the bright glare off the water. One issue that I have is that they are somewhat prone to fogging up, but using some toothpaste in the lenses before heading to the pool seems to help in that area.I think these goggles will last a long time if properly cared for and used gently. I also make sure to wash off the pool chemicals with fresh water after use because it seems that they can do a number on the rubber face cups in some of my previous pairs of goggles.

I won't be using these often but wanted a set for when I need to see well underwater in our pool for cleaning spots, etc. These appear to be watertight based on the initial use and they are comfortable to wear. They seem to be great for the job I purchased them for and the quality appears to be good also.

Worked okay for a few months but then a lense fell out and they also fogged up fairly easily. Definitely not a premium product.

These goggles are comfortable to wear, and using button on side makes them extremely easy to adjust.
