Fit perfectly for the 1969 Mustang Toploader between the clutch fork and Z bar. It can be lengthened or shortened by bending the long end hook.

This is the clutch fork return helper spring that connects to the fork arm and bell housing. I ran without one for years, but added it because I was under there.

So yeah. The whole friggen rod on my 79 CJ7 just snapped off while in town. Luckily the light turned green, which allowed us to coast into a parking lot. A new rod, tip, and spring made the Jeep shift better than it ever has in the 20+ years I've owned it. I've had two incorrect springs working in tandem to pull the clutch fork back but they weren't quite right. One proper spring makes a HUGE difference.
