This replacement REAR leaf spring plate fits the passenger side of 76-83 CJ5, 76-86 CJ7 and 81-86 CJ8 Scrambler models. Plate is constructed of high-strength steel and measures 4.5-inches x 6.25-inches. For left rear spring plate, use 18271.12. Replaces OE 5359008

The plate fits just like the factory original. I didn't have to enlarge the center hole for line up with the axle.You will have to find a nut that fits the thread for the shock. On my jeep, one of the factory ubolt nuts worked.

Fast delivery and as described. Same brand, left and right sides are close to mirror images but not all the way. Close enough to work though

I was hesitant to get this part but I'm glad I did. Discovered that my original was cracked when I added new leaf springs and went with this replacement. It's just as heavy duty and thick as the original. Slightly different shape on the profile but still fit my 1981 CJ8 great.
