About this item

  • Electric relay for controlling electric signals in low current applications
  • Quick-connect terminal for routing current directly through the contacts
  • SPST-NO for simple on/off switching
  • Insulation meets UL Class B for flame resistant materials
  • UL recognized for safety and CSA certified for quality assurance

This Omron G7L-1A-TUB-CB-AC100/120 general purpose relay has Class B rated insulation material, quick-connect terminal connections, upper-bracket mounting, and is suitable for use in high capacity voltage applications. This relay has single pole single throw normally open (SPST-NO) contacts, an input current rating of 17 to 20.4 mA and a load rating of 220VAC at 30 amp, with an input of 100 to 120VAC. This relay has Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) Class B rated insulation material for flame resistance, and quick-connect terminals for routing current directly through the contacts. It is designed to mount to an upper-bracket in an equipment rack. This general purpose relay is suitable for high capacity voltage applications such as fluid pump controls in the water and chemical processing industries.

Relay switches (also called an electrical relay or an electrical relay switch) use a small amount of power to control a larger source of power connected to electrical devices such as car motors, computers, and lighting installations. A basic relay switch has a control circuit with an electromagnetic coil and a load circuit with contacts and a lever. When current flows into the relay switch, it moves through the coil and a magnetic field is created, which causes the lever in the load circuit to move between contacts, either turning the device on or off. In a normally open (NO) relay switch, when power is supplied to the relay, the load circuit is closed and the power source connected to the relay is turned on. In a normally closed (NC) relay switch, when power is supplied to the relay, the load circuit is open and the power source connected to the relay is turned off. In other types of relay switches, non-moving parts such as transistors or semiconductors can be used as the control circuit to operate the switching mechanism. Relay switches can be controlled with an external switch, such as a light switch, or they can be connected to an automatically switched power source, such as a car ignition. One relay can operate multiple switches, and multiple relays can be operated with a single switch, with each relay operating independently from the other relays in the system.

Omron manufactures and distributes electronic components, equipment, and systems for industrial automation. The company, founded in 1933, is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.

My pool cover relay was flooded due to leaky housing. This is a replacement with the same part number.Works great and is a direct replacement for it.

Installed in a Kenmore canister vacuum that originally had a 25amp relay that burned through. Not an exact fit but removing 2 flimsy tabs in the vacuum and it secures well. I also had to put a larger terminal fitting for the switch yellow wire to fit the new relay. Time will tell how it holds up, but this company has a solid reputation.

It must be a good relay. The HVAC has been running over 2 months.

In the past, I've used the 24-VAC version in a lot of HVAC applications. This time, I was using a current switch, with very low load specs (.3A max.) and needed to add a 110-VAC relay to control an attic mounted exhaust fan for a kitchen. It works like a charm! Did have to mount it in a double-gang, surface mount J-box, with a custome cover plate with a single outlet and pilot light. (photo's available).
