I tested this as soon as I received it - it made slicing potatoes fun. Easy to use and removes potential injuries by its design. Excellent product - I definitely recommend it.

The functionality of this product is excellent. You can adjust the slice size easily which is handy for chopping potatoes to cucumbers without needing to have multiple attachments. It's so much safer than a regular mandolin which can easily cut the fingers. However, it's a difficult tool to clean as it doesn't fully un-assemble. However, it is easy to soak and is dishwasher safe.

I had to ask myself if I really needed another food processing gadget. The answer is yes a huge improvement over the mandolin this gadget is efficient practical and easy to clean. There is no question that my hands and fingertips are safe. The shredding and slicing is efficient and effective. The cleanup is so quick that I don’t hesitate to grab it to use it. Problem solved!

The Mandoline Slicer has instructions for putting the slicer together. Whoever wrote those instructions was very vague and although they did show pictures for each step of assembling them, they could have been much clearer. So far, all I did with the slicer was wash all the parts per instructions, and then assemble them. The mandoline folds up nicely in a drawer if you have room for that, but you still also have to find more room in that drawer or another place for all the parts.
