Read instructions, practiced with it multiple times, I still needed my electric can opener. It had fresh batteries but it vibrates so much the cover for the battery compartment was coming open, it struggled and was VERY loud. It worked it's way around but did not open my can good with numerous tries. I think a regular hand operated opener is better than this but I understand some with arthritis maybe can't, especially while RV'ing or camping. Don't recommend this one.

Was a bit difficult in getting this to work the first time. Takes a couple of times to go over the lid to get it to open properly. Price is also a very high considering the quality.
