My mother who is 92 years old was having get difficulty opening can on her own. We tried a multitude of openers with no luck. Then I ran across this opener and thought might be the ticket. I order one and took it to my mom and demonstrated how to use it. She opened the next one on her own with no issues! After a few weeks of use, she asked me to order another one for her friend. I'm happy this can opener really works.

This worked easily and opened the can perfectly! I've only used it once, but I know I need to order another for a friend! My hands will not open cans any more, weakness after hand surgery, tendon issues, etc. I literally can't cook certain things without help. Embarrassing and frustrating. This can opener changes that. It's easy to place, push the button to start and again to end, couldn't be easier. Even if you don't have hand issues, just want an easy way to open cans, this is the deal. Uses 4 AA batteries also. The magnet makes it stay at the right spot.

I bought this for my mom last year. She didnรขโฌโขt have to use it until today. She asked me to open a can for her as she was on the phone. It worked so amazingly good! I know when she uses this on her own sheรขโฌโขll start other cans just to start playing around with it. She is arthritic & normally she canรขโฌโขt open up jars or cans. This will be a lifesaver if no one is around to help her.

I absolutely love the ease, the magnet to hold the lid for when it's done opening and the safe lip is my absolute favorite part there is no sharp edge to hurt when done cutting. The design fits your hand perfect and smooth and it's like having your own real assistant handym I always love to show it off doing it's thing to company if I need one open when entertaining, sparks conversation bc it's one of a kind and new.

I like that this can opener is easy to use and for the most part completely hands free. I was worried about the can opener falling off of the can after pushing the button, but it's worked well every time. The design seems to be well thought out. The only thing that I don't love about it would be the fact that cans tend to leak if they're filled to the brim with liquid due to the movement caused from the can opener. However, it's such a minor issue. I would recommend opening cans like that over the sink. The can opener stays clean, so that hasn't been an issue. It is a good size and can fit well in a typical utensil drawer. It's hard to find a good quality can opener that consistently works well and this one is definitely proving to be a good one.

Let me start by saying that as I've gotten older it's been a real pain (arthritis has started) to use a hand cranked can opener, so I wanted something that was compact but mechanical and didn't take up a lot of counter space like the old mechanical ones did, and I really didn't want to attach anything to the bottom of my cabinets. This thing is perfect! It fits in my utensils drawer, is battery operated and very easy to use. Make sure you read the instructions on how to stop it. I didn't take the time to read the card the first time or two and thought something was wrong with it. All you do is press the button and wait 2 seconds.
