Quality connectors that fit fine. Haven't noticed any signs of signal degradation. Takes the strain off of SMA connectors on gateway.

I used them for IC PHY level testing of 802.11g 54 Mbps and and 802.11nMCS-7 20 MHz BW tests. I needed to add 10 dB inline attenuators because the output signal is too high going into the RF digitizer causing compression. There isn't enough clearance under the boards so these SMA elbows work great. There isn't any specification of the Insertion Loss, BW or VSWR on these SMA elbows. However, I did measure the EVM of the IC and the results correlates well even without the SMA elbows inline to the RF Digitizer. Since EVM is composite measurement, it is safe to state the the match is good and the insertion loss is less than 1 dB.Mechanical wise, the male connector head turns freely. This is typical and preferred for my application so that if there is a tug on the RF cable, there will be some tolerance for it to turn such that it doesn't rip apart my USD 100+ SMP/SMA RF cables. I have a bunch of them per-board. If you desire a tight connection, then use a SMA torque tool. I have one of these tool and they can cost a few hundred dollars and you have to get them calibrated every year. I typically use this tool only when I do not want any play or movement when connecting up all the RF instrumentations. It may also help the gain by 0.1 dB, but that's very subjective. In most cases, my finger does all the torqueing.

I'm using these on a 5G home internet modem to make it easier on my antenna wires. They fit the bill and are a very good deal for the money

Perfect! Allows me to angle cables properly to mount my mobile router in a vehicle and keep the cables tucked neatly against the unit.
