I had a premie, and these were perfect for him. They fit him from 4lbs to about 7lbs. The mits were a little small, but the elastic was never too tight on his little wrists. He is now 37 weeks though and the hats a tad bit small, so I will say that definitely run a tad small.

Each item is of a different size. Some are big. Some are small. Some mittens fit perfectly, while the matching mitt is too loose to be useful. Most of the mittens are too loose on the elastic to stay on. The ones that are made properly are great.Package also had a really foul odor, which came out in the wash.

Love the variety and colors. This worked great for our newborn and will fit for the first couple months great. Much better than the tiny newborn hats that last two weeks. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Only thing to note is it does have two side seams so I try not to center those on the back where the pressure of my baby’s head is laying. He doesn’t seem to care but I feel like the seam might be annoying?
