Have not had the chance to try it out on a drained battery yet. but it got here in very good condition. Very well cushioned in a box that showed no damage on the surface either. Part of a mobile battery charger for things like construction equipment, of grid locations, etc. Cheaper running than jumper cables under the hood, no other vehicle will be committed while charging a battery.

Alternator seems to be working perfectly, I have it on a 78 chevy plow truck and the old alternator would not keep up, but no problem for this one. Highly recommend it if you have a high electrical demand.

The item just doesn't charge at a low rate of speed that is needed for farm tractor use.
