This came today and I wasted no time in using it - probably my new favorite gadget.It helped sliced uniform onion and tomato slices for burgers very easily.It is sturdy and the protection cap will be nice when storing as the tines are sharp.I think longer tines would make it a little more likely to move, so I'm glad I got one that is shorter.The only negative, and it's very minor so I didn't take off any stars, is the handle rolls just a bit. Not enough to be a safety hazard, but something I wasn't prepared for.Great item!!

My adult son and his adult girlfriend are special needs. As we teach them the basics of working in a kitchen, using knives is obviously the most dangerous. This item makes it easy. Just pushing this down halfway for a tomato or an onion has made cutting so easy for them. Even a feeling of accomplishment for something that most of us take for granted. A simple item, but well worth it. The price makes it affordable even if you have to change it down the road. The durability seems to made in such a manner that they will have it for years to come.

The tool is very well made and works pretty good. However after a recent cooking class that I attended, it is not a tool anyone really needs. the same results can be achieved without any additional tools.Just Youtube chef slicing onions

This freaking thing works. At the Prime price, you can’t go wrong . So fast. Onions cut really small. Get it!!

Cutting in-between is great but the stability of it needs more work cause the blade shouldn’t be moving when cutting.
