I purchased this to use as a lighter, more easily portable but stable seat to play sitting with my Double Bass. I was concerned the height may not be high enough but I did measure it from floor to bottom of the seat height and it does measure almost 28" which works great for me. I have a gig this weekend where I have to also play my electric bass. So I have more gear on stage so the built in ADJUSTABLE guitar stand on the back is a 2fer 1 deal and I don't have to carry an extra guitar stand! Yay! I can even have my bass guitar in the stand while I sit and play my upright. I like this stool a lot and it was cheaper than my other stools. I'm going to recommend this to my bass students. I am very happy with my usage and purchase of this. I'll update and post photos of the gig with both basses on stage soon.

I thought this would either be pretty cool, or pretty terrible. It's pretty cool! Great for a gig musician who needs a place to put his/her guitar on breaks but doesn't have much room. It's very sturdy, and I feel very comfortable leaving my Martin 00-DB in the holder with no concerns. If you're considering it, you'll probably like it. I haven't tried it with solid body guitars, but a standard acoustic works great.

It is a nice piece for taking to gigs. Overall, you can’t have a guitar on the back while using, reason I purchased it in the first place. It is uncomfortable with the instrument behind you. It is on the higher side, so if you are tall, it works well. I am 5’7” and it is a good fit for me.

Great to be able to keep everything lightweight and together, if I get up I just sit the guitar on the attached stand secure with the handy strap and walk away for a break.

I play guitar professionally and have worn out two of the previous versions of this stand over the last 20 years. This new version has a few major shortcomings. While the seat is a bit more comfortable than the old version - better padding - the release mechanism is a bit hard to use but most importantly, the legs that support the guitar while I go on break are MUCH lower to the ground than the older one, which means I have to unplug to rest it on the legs. The top yoke is probably a better design than the indentation on the front of the seat on the old one in terms of keeping the guitar neck secure. It is also a bit heavier than the old one the stand/legs and yoke do not fold up as well meaning it takes up more space in my vehicle. Would probably not buy again.

I find this to be an excellent stool. Well made and very sturdy, and the guitar stand holds my Fender Jazz bass securely. It measures just a little over 28 inches from the floor to the top of the seat and I am 5' 6" - it's a good height for me, as I lean on it as much as set on it. I recommend this stool.

Good height. Love the foot rest. Nice that the guitar leg holdesr fold in and that it folds up. Guitar will stand a little close to body but it works!

I love how fast this came but the box it came in was slightly damaged. I love how practical and space saving it is. The latch is flimsy which does concern me and then I had to play around a little bit to fold it and the bottom part of the stand keeps falling every time I go to fold it so I have fold it part way, fold the bottom part and then finish closing the stool otherwise if I don't the bottom part of the stand will stick out or the stool won’t fold completely. I wish the latch was more solid and sturdy and cushioning was more softer and a little thicker.

I love the concept to have a unit with both a stool and stand but if the stool was adjustable for height it would help ....I like to have a foot on the floor

Sturdy. The guitar rest/stand is a neat feature to the seat - which is why I bought it but the seat itself isn’t very comfortable. You won’t be sitting on this thing for very long.
