I use this to mount an Anker sound bar's camera tripod receiver to a 5/8" 27 mic stand. Works like a charm, and with no moving parts (seems to be turned from a solid brass chunk), it should last for as long as I can manage to not cross-thread it.Sometimes simple is the way to go.I use this with an onstage stands side-arm that's got an angle adjustment which takes care of aiming the speaker/camera/projector

The normal adapters to be able to mount an Apogee MiC onto a regular microphone stand are about $20 for a made-for-the-purpose one or about $10 for a camera adapter which can be made to work (kind of ugly looking though, in my opinion). What I did was to buy this adapter for less than $2 and then I ground off flush the screw stem on it. I then used a small 1/8" drill bit to drill a hole large enough to allow the Apogee's OEM tripod's screw to be able to attach this adapter to the swivel adapter part of the factory Apogee tripod. Sounds complicated but it was super easy to do, works great and saved some money.

I purchased this for two reasons: (1) to mount a small video camera to a microphone stand that has two mic mounting points (), and (2) to allow me the flexibility of mounting my Samsung Tab 3 tablet to a microphone stand using a holder that was designed to connect to camera tripods. This gives me the best of both worlds.Construction is first rate. I tested the microphone adapter end on a number of stands that I own, including budget stands, and the fit is perfect. It also perfectly mates with the camera mounts on my digital camera as well as tablet mounts.Bottom line: the price is right, especially for such an uncommon adapter. On Stage could have charged a premium, but instead kept the price point down and the quality up. I am actually going to order a few spares since I am forever losing small items such as this, but thus far it has been a godsend.

Exactly as described, but make sure you get the thread measurements right! Easy enough switch, but if I didn’t purchase early I would have been in a pinch when I needed it.
