Not for amateurs, as they say. Installation requires commitment, and a drill. It works, though.

This is a very clever and nice addition to my On Stage Studio stand/desk. Fits very nicely right where I needed it. The really nice thing about this is the fact that you have options as to how you want to attach it to the desk.

This table is very awkward to say the least. It does not truly create an "L" shape desk. Don't buy it if you don't have the space for a "U" shaped desk.. Returned it ASAP.

I love the item and extended my desk so I can put more stereo equipment on it

I gave this three stars for the same reason I gave the main desk three stars -- the fact that it's made of contact paper on melamine instead of veneer. This piece of pre-fab furniture is without a doubt the cheapest made furniture item I've ever seen.I assembled mine offset and completely not following either of the template choices. I put the long side against the right side of my desk, then slid it back so the back is flush with the back of the top panel. I only used one bracket since there was less congruous space between the two parts. Then I put the leg on the back side so the foot is parallel with and against the wall instead of out in the middle of the room. I'm only putting a laptop on it, so the weight will be fine. If you're putting cinder blocks on the side table, you'll probably want to follow directions.

Good value for the price. As others have said, you need to drill/tap in holes using a paper guide that you tape to the underside. This is to allow a piece to be left or right. I didn't have much problem doing this. When you are done putting it together the leg remains loose no matter how much you tighten it. Once you screw it to something (using the two braces for total of six screws) the wobbliness of the leg is gone.

It fits great with the table and everything. But the build quality is pretty bad and if you do this the wrong way the table might not be leveled. the leg of this corner table can shifts sometimes.
