Overall very happy with the purchase. I was surprised when it arrived without the ball attached. That may have been an oversight on my part from the product description, and I understand you need to install the ball the opposite way for a rise instead of a drop... But attaching the ball requires a 1" socket or wrench and another wrench to hold the ball while you tighten. Many local auto parts stores will rent you the torque wrench and you might be able to get a tire shop or repair shop to torque it for you. It does have the large crush washer, so even without the torque wrench, if you get that flat you are probably good to go. As for the hitch itself, I needed a much lower drop for a new truck and this fit the bill for a reasonable price. Just completed a long road trip towing a travel trailer and everything held up great and looks good.

This hitch works out really well- I had about 4 hitch setups laying around the garage- those all have new homes. This set up is perfect, rugged, no movement or clanking when stopping and most of all it just feels secure in operation. When hauling my boat I have piece of mind-she is safe and those around me are safe also. Great hitch defenently worth the money.
