The Opteka .3x Ultra Fisheye Lens offers an extreme fisheye effect and a high degree of barrel distortion. It exaggerates depth by pulling nearby objects closer and causing distant objects to recede into the background. On most camcorders, the 0.3x Ultra fisheye Lens yields a horizontal viewing angle of 130° (180°) measured diagonally.

CONSTRUCTION
Built tough to withstand extreme usage, the Opteka 0.3x Platinum Series Ultra Fisheye lens uses a light weight, all aluminum alloy, rust resistant body.
LENS HOOD
Not only does the Opteka 0.3x Platinum Series Ultra Fisheye Lens include a lens hood, it also includes a complimentary micro size screw driver for installation and removal. The lens hood blocks stray light from entering lens protects lens from impact as well.
LENS SPACER
Included with every lens is a lens spacer. The spacer creates lens vignetting for added special effects.
HARD LENS CASE
Included with every lens is a semi hard case with extra soft internal lining to prevent dirt, dust and scratches.
FRONT & REAR LENS CAPS
Included with every lens is another level of protection, front and rear lens caps.

The lens looks and works great. i had to modify the lens hood because the small side slats were in the shot so i grinded them down so that the lens cover would still work.

This was a great purchase! I can't afford the Schneider Optics (Century Optics) fisheye so this is perfect. I really like the new carrying case it comes with, the old one wasn't as sturdy. Anyone buying it for HD cameras such as the HVX-200 or HPX-170, just know you'll have to take off the ouster shade cap due to vignetting. You'll already get a lot of vignetting from the spacer or step ring, so no need for more. Highly recommend this product.

Habe es mittels step-up-ring an meiner Panasonic Hc-X1. Es zeigt eine starke Vignette die sich aber durch leichtes hinein zoomen anpassen lässt. Das Fisheye ist eigentlich für ältere Camcorder mit 4/3 Format und kleinem Sensor konzipiert. Dank des Makromodus lässt es sich dennoch an der Hc-X1 verwenden.
