Light plastic and it started to strip out as I moved it from my front to back yard, but solved problem with a metal connection from the hardware store so the sprinkler end stays permanent and hooks into hoses easily. Does a good job getting those areas that my sprinkler system misses. Waters large areas or small. I didn’t have to run back and forth moving the hose.

I've used this set up in my front yard for years and it's lasted for year! It covers well. My front yard shape is a fairly straight rectangle and I don't have to move and re-set until I mow but I know where to place them and it's easy. My backyard is kind of U shaped around the deck and I didn't know if this would work but I decided to try it and it's great for that too! I don't have to move much and once in a while I hand water the corners back there. But it's so much better than a rotating sprinkler that I previously used and it goes the length of my yard! If you're not fortunate enough to have a sprinkler system, like me, I think this will make you happy.

There’s several things I did wrong but here’s how I got it working as expected.1. Direct connection to a hose. Not on a splitter bc it reduces the pressure.2. Shorter your lead hose the better. I snagged a 25 ft and that worked. Although shorter lead hose would be better to get the full range of each sprinkler head. 50 feet didn’t work.3. Sprinkler pack is in 3 and worked best for my water pressure. Any more, even connecting 5, and the water pressure was too light. I’m running a 25 for hose for each Box.4. The circumference is more 8-10 feet unit with good pressure and not what’s on the box.5. I run them off a 4 prong faucet. They do fine off that with the other sprinkler going too. But not the soaker hose or the second set of 3 i bought so I run my two sets at different times.6. The black sprinkler part that’s interchangeable must be screwed in all the way. When it wants you to adjust with a screwdriver, it means this—the whole black plastic piece, not the screw itself. DO NOT over tighten anything. Don’t use the screwdriver. Works fine by hand.7. You probably want yard steaks if you’re not moving it around.8. The different nozzles worked great for me on corners etc.Overall worked best for landscaping, jasmine, etc. It’s not power full enough to do a yard— it simulates a light, happy rain. Not good for a solid drenching 2x a week for grass.

I've used this particular sprinkler system for years, and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I own three or four of them for my garden and quarter acre yard.On the plus side, it doesn't get much easier than this. Each sprinkler head generates a small to medium size fountain. Unlike the sprinkers which spray straight out and move in a circle which are tough to set up or the ones which kids like the run through and move in an arc, it's easy to put there where you want them and avoid spraying a bunch of stuff you want to keep dry. The other side of this coin, though, is that each sprinkler does not cover much ground. Therefore, if you have a yard of any significant size, you're going to need 2 or 3 of these sets. To cover all of my yard, I'd need four or five of these sets. The other option, of course, is to drag one set around your yard. Take it from me - this is a huge pain. I don't recommend it.There are a few disadvantages. First, each sprinkler set requires a separate hose to use since there is a sprinkler on each end of this package. Therefore, if you buy two sets, for example, to water your yard, you'll also need to buy at least two hoses if you wish to use the two sets simultaneously, three hoses for three sets, and so on.The second disadvantage is that each sprinkler has a screw on plastic piece which is required for it to function. These pieces come off very easily and are non-standard. If one comes off and you lose it - and this happened to me multiple times - you won't be able to replace it, and you'll have to buy a whole new sprinkler system. Finally, it can be difficult to get the sprinklers to sit flat. All in all, I wouldn't go with these sprinklers if I was starting again. I'd take the extra time to figure out how to install the type that sprays straight out and rotates. That type is standard and scaleable and will cover a much larger area than these. On the flip side, if you have a very small area to water, like a small garden, you might like this set. It is more flexible than most sprinkler options.

Overall a very good sprinkler set for narrow areas and hard to water odd shapes. A few hints. Adjust the nozzles from the bottom using a phillips not from the top using a slotted screwdriver. Take the nozzle off the sprinkler and rotate the phillips head underneath the nozzle. You will avoid damaging the small fragile adjustment slot on top of the nozzle. Take however long it takes (it took me over an hour) to get the flow to be uniform from each spray head regardless of how high the flow was from the hose bib. It is worth it in the long run. Also, go to the hardware store and purchase a 3' long 1-3/8-in Zinc-Plated perforated Steel bar and cut into 3 sections. They will fit exactly on the bottom of each of the 3 sprinklers and when bolted to the sprinklers will provide weight that helps keep them in place and level.

Coverage not great. Hoses too small and pressure drop after first sprinkler. Maybe a 10’ radius. My service has enough pressure but these still suck. Ended up using different sprinklers to get coverage for new grass seed. Pretty worthless IMO.

These sprinklers are great. They work really well and honestly are worth it for the money. They are easy to put together(I added some plumbers tape to help prevent leaking long term) and have a great throw of the water. The only draw back is, I wish that they amcan with 3 full nozzles, 3 1/2 nozzles, and 3 1/4 nozzles. The connecting hoses that come with it are plenty long enough for variations and to adjust positions for your needs. Overall, seems to be just what we needed.
