This little tractor moves along the hose without difficulty. You just lay your water hose out in the area that you want watered and connect to the tractor, turn on the water and let it go!! Works great!

Cheaper than replacement of the whole sprinkler. Old drive assembly easy to remove. This new part went on equally easy. If sprinkler is going backwards then the arms need to point the other direction. Quite satisfied but hope to not buy again.

First the Good. I have been using a tractor sprinkler for about 15 years. They work very well for watering a residential lot. If you place them on a timer and watch them closely, they can last 5-10 years or more. The replacement motor assembly is easy to replace. Now the Bad. If the tractor turns over or gets into a bind and cannot move, the worm gear inside the motor assembly will strip and the tractor will not move. This is a very simple part, but I have not been able to find a replacement. if your water pressure is to high, the hose connection on the back of the motor will sometimes blow out. When you set you hose, keep the bends very wide, or the tractor will jump the hose or turn over.

I took a chance and ordered this green Orbit motor assembly for my yellow Nelson sprinkler. I did that because for a few extra $$ you get brand new wheels. It fit perfect and works perfect. That being said, the price between this repair and a brand new Orbit tractor isn't much. Considering repairing a 2nd sprinker....but I might just buy new and use the old one as a yard decoration.

Easy repair for a tractor sprinkler that won't move. The worm gear wears out on the rotating sprinkler head and this is the only fix.It will fit other brands than Orbit but not all. This mounts with 5 bolts, 2 at each axle stub and one in front.New wheels are already mounted and ready to go.

I truely hate this sprinker. It broke within 5 month of purchasing. Needed to buy a complete new gear box for almost the same price as the whole sprinkler. Less than 2 months using, a small plastic piece on the bottom broke and is completely dead. Conveniently 2 weeks after I could return the item. STAY AWAY from this garbage plastic, overpriced traveling sprinkler or replacement parts. These are nothing like the ones from the past that would last year. They just make it look sturdy with some metal on top, but the rest is garbage. I am so angry to waste this much on a sprinkler. I would be more happy with a dozen $10 basic sprinklers, which is what I'm going to purchase instead of this cheap crap.
