This worked great for my tiller. The little knob at the top splits in half and allows you to bolt it right on to the tiller throttle slot. You may need to use a heat gun to soften the plastic to pull off the top half but it shouldn't break or give you too much trouble.Once then knob is off, it readily bolts using the same holes on the tiller and put the bottom half of the knob on then press the top half back on and then snap the bottom half to it.I didn't have any luck in pulling the throttle wire out so when shortening it, I used a pair of wire strippers to expose the spiral wrap of the cable housing where I wanted to trim the cable to.With the spiral metal exposed, I used a pair of flush cutters to snip the spiral without damaging the wire.I managed to break the tip of the flush cutters though so there's probably a better way to cut the steel spiral without much issue.Anyways with a small z bend tool, a new throttle control was functional and works well. Just remember to size everything with throttle on the engine at low and the throttle control at low.

It's a standard generic throttle cable & it works fine if it fits your needs.

I put this on a neighbor's Toro Commercial mower that he uses in his lawn care business. The Toro OEM part was very expensive, I bought this because of the reasonable price and the Oregon name. I matched up the specs from Toro and Oregon and this cable was a couple of inches longer and would probably fit. The only reason I gave 3 stars for durability was because the knob wouldn't come off for the installation and when you tightened the mounting clamp on the carburetor end of the cable, the cable wouldn't slide/operate, The protective black covering on the cable is a softer plastic and will deform and bind the cable when tightened enough to hold it in place. I got around the problems quickly and it works good so far. A very good value for the money and seem well made.

Bought one and it came damaged, within a day a new part came and no return request needed. Which helps save my own time. The part was used for a brush hog mk series zero turn mower, 60†was a bit too long but a little bit of rerouting the part works as intended. Good part, smooth lever, stiff cable all in all good value for the money.

Old throttle assembly didn't work well, so went looking for something better and while this throttle assembly had it's mount going the opposite way of my mounted throttle assembly. I knew this when I purchased the Oregon 60-522 assembly. No worries. I knew I was gonna need to do a custom re-mount anyway to clear a lot of engine components that were in the way of how factory installed their throttle assembly. Found a wide metal L-shaped hanger in my garage that would be perfect to use as a new mount and started drilling. VIOLA! Throttle assembly mounted on its new custom holder, some cable and outer sheathing cut for proper length and now my engine is happily rev'n up and down better than what the factory throttle assembly ever did and looks great on my mower. If this assembly goes bad, which I don't expect, I'll definitely order another one.

The old engines throttle and brake were linked. They are not on the engine I ordered. That is why I had to purchase this and hook it up to the throttle.

I am building an engine run stand and this should be ideal for that. The cable seems to be long enough and there is enough friction to lock the throttle in one place but still easy to give it a rev or two.
