While it is technically not recommended to put another mattress in a pack and play this fits perfectly with no gaps on the sides. I feel that it is safe.We went with a pack and play instead of a crib so we wanted something a little more comfortable that just the pack and play mattress. It feel very comfortable. It has a firmer side for infants and the other side is softer.

I went back and fourth several times trying to decide what mattress to order as a first time mom. I chose this one, I love the breathable organic cotton which is healthier for baby. It came with no weird scents. The mattress is very soft and has a nice thickness. I love that it has 2 sides one that is more firm for a newborn and one that is softer, ALTHOUGH it was a little hard to distinguish which side was which probably because i'm a first time mom. I like this option because we got a crib that will grow with baby so there is no need to buy another mattress when they graduate to a bigger or different bed. Also, no need to buy a new mattress if they are still in the same crib when they are ready to graduate to a softer mattress. Maybe the company can help me out in determining which side is suppose to be the firm side and which is the soft side, as it also wasn't labeled.

Love the mattress - it’s a good 5inch depth with firm surface for baby. Breathable! ( I smushed my face in it and could breathe easily). Seems comfortable and good quality. I was debating getting newton mattress but this seems better quality at a lower price.

Our daughter will be sleeping in her pack n play for a few months. We wanted more comfortable, breathable mattress and this one does the trick! There are gaps between the mattress corners and pack n play however.

I bought this mattress because it was organic and I don't want my baby sleeping on anything less than the best (Just being honest), plus the reviews here are great so we bought ours. 1) the mattress has zero smell when you open the box. 2) I immediately noticed the quality of the organic cotton cover and was wishing I had this on my own bed. 3) I was relieved that this mattress was good quality and my search was actually over for a crib mattress. The cover is a zippered cover which is removable to allow parents to wash it. This is probably somewhere in the description but I thought I'd mention this. C) it has a firm side and soft side for our toddler, which seems to be the right level of sensitivity on each side. My husband and I both feel happy with this purchase and each of us felt this was good quality. Overall it's really comfortable. This mattress fits a mini crib perfectly. We also bought one of their organic fitted sheets which fits perfectly onto the mattress. The only thing I would recommend is hang-drying the cover because I've heard if you dry organic cotton in the dryer it can be too much. We also have several other back up sheets for the mattress as well. I highly recommend it, it is great but for the money. I'd definitely buy another one if we have another in the next year or so.

I recently purchased this crib mattress, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality. When I unboxed it, the mattress was not expanded evenly—there's a noticeable slope across the surface, making it uneven and uncomfortable. I expected a smooth, firm surface for my baby to sleep on, but this wasn’t the case. The material also feels different from what I was expecting—it's not as soft or breathable as advertised. For the price, I was hoping for better consistency and quality. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you're willing to take a chance on a product that might not meet your expectations.

loving this for our mini crib, it’s thick and firm. We have the standard size for our regular crib and crib at grandma’s
