These are great. They are a tight fit to every pair of stud earrings that I own. They also don't make my ears itch so definitely 14k. I have 3 holes in each ear. The 2nd and 3rd are always studs and they stay in. I do clean them with witch hazel and a q-tip daily, but about once every 2 months, I do take them all out and give them a good scrubbing. So far, these are wonderful and I am going to purchase another pack of them since I always seem to lose my backs. Great value.

They fit the earrings I needed them for however they are marked 1/20 14k. This means that they are gold filled, a thinker form of plating, so they are not solid gold. I will update if/ when I notice color change. All in all comfortable and fit my earrings but they are not as advertised.
