Great Product - Its now easy to save and transition photos and videos from the iPhone to a computer.

I am a sports mom with three athletes that are in season all year and sometimes, multiple sports at once. I film everything. This external hard drive is really convenient and helps me keep my phone storage clear. For 1TB, it's so tiny. The best part is that I can hand it over to my kids and they can plug it right into their phones to watch their film and create their highlight reels without impacting their phone storage.I am still learning the features. One thing that I need to work on are the tags. I tag each set of videos with a color and naming convention but I haven't found a good way to search for the specific games I want to find. I am also not sure if you can record and save directly to the drive. I usually just transfer from my phone after games.Lastly, there were no directions provided. I went onto the website and was able to find info on how to transfer.

It worked for my IPhone 15. I transferred all my photos from IPhone to PC. I also realized I can’t attach it to my phone case which has a magnet on the back. So you could have immediate extra storage (1 Tb) if desired. This external drive is about 1/2 the size of my IPhone 15 (I don’t have the Max or Plus. It’s just IPhone 15)

No instructions come with it. Just warnings and safety info. So I went to their website, and couldn’t find a user manual there either. YouTube came thru for me, but I shouldn’t have to go there to learn how. The device works well once you figure it out, but it gets hot pretty quick. In this case I was downloading a large volume of pics to it.

Recording videos in ProRes has been amazing, thanks to the SSD! Highly recommended.

Me llegó rápido, bien envalado y el dispositivo lo ha reconocido el sistema android .Esperaba poder configurarlo como una targeta ssd para permitir el volcado de imágenes, pero así no me permite.De todas forma vale para hacer un backup del dispositivo.

Ein aktueller MacMini dient meiner Frau und mir als reine Bürostation für Emails, Shopping und zur Erledigung der Steuern. Leider haben die aktuellen MacMinis keinen Steckplatz für eine zweite SSD, so das ich für die Datensicherung über Timemachine eine kleine und unauffällige USB-SSD suchte.Um so mehr habe ich mich gefreut als ich bei Amazon die kleine USB-C SSD mit 1TB Kapazität von ORICO entdeckt habe! Wie immer wurde der bestellte Artikel schnell und sicher von Amazon an uns geliefert. Sehr schön!Die kleine USB-C SSD mit 1TB Kapazität von ORICO funktioniert nach echtem Plug-and-Play - was heißt, anstecken und läuft! Das ist schon mal keine Enttäuschung, denn im Jahr 2025 sollte das bei allen Geräten so sein.Das leichte. dunkelgraue Kunststoffgehäuse der ORICO SSD macht einen recht stabilen Eindruck und lässt sich kaum eindrücken. Das sehr kurze USB-C Flachkabel geht für "anstecken und auf dem MacMini liegen" vollkommen in Ordnung. Selbst als mobile SSD für Smartphonevideos auf Reisen wäre mit dem Kabel locker machbar.Allerdings muss ich eventuelle Erwartungen auf die Geschwindigkeit der SSD, bzw. des Datentransfers dämpfen! Das Teil ist wirklich sehr langsam!Selbst mit einem geprüften Kabel mit hoher Qualität, mit welchem ich sonst die Datenrate von USB-C auslasten kann, war ein Datentransfer über 30 MB/Sekunde kaum machbar! Als Timemachine - Laufwerk am MacMini, welches im Hintergrund unauffällig seine Backups macht, geht das schon in Ordnung, aber als performantes Laufwerk zur Videobearbeitung eher nicht.Ja, mir wurde die USB-C SSD mit 1TB Kapazität von ORICO im Rahmen des Amazon Vine-Programms kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt, aber das beeinflusst in keiner Weise meinen Eindruck, oder die hier von mir geäußerte Meinung!In diesem Fall kann ich die USB-C SSD mit 1TB Kapazität von ORICO für Timemachine Backups oder Datensafe eines Smartphone nur weiter empfehlen, solang der 40% Coupon aktiv ist! Der OVP von fast 130 Euro ist für die langsame Leistung zu hoch.
