I have been purchasing these boots for the past 6 years and the quality has been dropping with each new iteration.This it seem the mid-sole is completely missing. I walk directly on the treads with a thin piece of cardboard.Seeing the price has NOT gone up with inflation I see why a main component was eliminated.If you like the "barefoot feel" I guess I could recommend them but for police, kitchen or warehouse work it is too unsafe to use.At the end of my shift, my feet are killing me. Not because I need to break them in, but because there is no midsole!
