made installation so easy. you can either use a press or a hammer/ mallet. I used a mallet and had my assistant hold the axle shaft. the old seals are a pain to get off but once off took me maybe 2 min to install new ones with this tool. if you're doing ball joints change your seals! if you're changing seals you need this tool! best price and great quality.

The tube is to short, not long enough to reach the seal for installation , I have a 2000 f350 drw, tube lacks a couple of inches to be useful. There is a hunk of metal inside that makes it to short,witch would be useful in the case of beating it on with a hammer if the tube was longer

My second attempt to order this tool. It made it this time but just barely. The box is. Super thin and not suitable for shipping an item of this weight. It was hanging out of the box when it showed up. I had previously lost this exact tool on a previous order. Be warned.****Update, company contacted me after this review and 100% refunded original purchase. Good on them.

Tool is too short to clear the axle shaft.Tool snapped into 2 pieces and when returned the company is lying saying I did not return the correct item so they are going to charge me for their incompetence.DO NOT recommend
